Things to do this fall in Maryland

Fall is in full force! The leaves are changing and the stores are filled with all things pumpkin spice. Sure, we’ll miss the pool parties and the backyard barbecues of the summer, but there’s also plenty of festive fall activities to look forward to in Maryland. Want to try something fun and unique for the kids? Why not go for a swim at the Floating Pumpkin Patch, visit the enchanted forest at Clark’s Elioak Farm or pick flowers at the Sunflower Festival.

Robinson Nature Center welcomes you to Halloween Tricks, Treats and Trees which takes place on Oct. 24th, featuring crafts, learning activities, live animals and healthy treats all while enjoying the wonders of nature throughout the park.

Fall events are not just for kids! Get your grub on at the Beer Bourbon & BBQ Festival, enjoy local craft beer at Pumpkins and Pours and get spooked at the Flashlights Night Maze. Get your taste buds ready for the Blues & Brews Festival on Oct. 23rd from noon to 4 p.m. at Historic Savage Mill. There will be food, brews, live music and more! Also, plan ahead and get your Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas Trees at TVL Tree Farm.
