Resident Visual Artists Exhibit 2017

What: Gallery exhibit featuring recent work created by artists who have studios at the Howard County Center for the Arts. The artists work in a variety of media including oil and watercolor painting, drawing, fiber art, and glass bead-making
Summertime Kick Off!
When: June 23, 2017 4-9PM

Where: Old Ellicott City
What: Live music by the water! There will be tapestries, glow sticks, incense, and hacky sacks for sale. You are encouraged to bring hula hoops, blankets, sketchbooks, acoustic guitars, hand drums, or any other instrument!
Columbia Big Band at the Lakefront

We Walk for Wellness

Where: North Laurel Community Center – 9411 Whiskey Bottom Rd, Laurel, MD 20723
What: The walking program will consist of a warm-up, guided group walking and cool-down, including light aerobic activity such as jumping jacks, marching in place and arm circles. Information about nutrition and exercise will also be available.
Nite Bite Fishing

What: Unique opportunity to fish the lake after hours! Bring your own fishing pole, bait, tackle, bug repellent, flashlight or lantern, chair, or boat
River Romp

Cost: $6/person or $25/family (up to 5 people)
Where: Robinson Nature Center
What: Celebrate summer by cooling off at the nature center with an afternoon at the Middle Patuxent River! Bring your own picnic and join a Robinson Naturalist at the river for lunch followed by fun, family-friendly river games.
