Home Prices Show Solid Improvement Across County
Howard County enjoyed a solid price increase across most of the region in June, with a marked increase in the number of homes sold (up 35% over last year). Overall, the county saw median prices move upward 8.2% from last month, and 5.5% for the year.
Days on market have remained at their lowest level in over two years, with the county-wide average number of days to market a home, from listing to contract, dropping to 49 days.
We are seeing great activity throughout the month of July across the county, with multiple offers on the best homes in many price ranges, especially those listed under $500,000. We expect to see price improvements continue when July’s numbers are released.
