Our Caring Achieves RESULTS!
We had an amazing turnout and the weather could not have been more perfect.
We just want to thank you again for all of your support, trust and friendship. Because of you, we were able to throw our biggest event of the year while also raising money for Grassroots, a crisis intervention center in Howard County. This organization is very near and dear to our hearts and we truly appreciate your generosity in helping us raise money for such a good cause.
We’d like to give a HUGE shout out to the kind people who donated raffle baskets! Through you, and through those of you who were able to participate in the raffle, we were able to raise $805 to support Grassroots!
Please check out the baskets below and take a minute to read about the wonderful people who donated them.
Robin Holliday, the owner of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery on Main Street in Ellicott City, donated a basket of beautiful pieces including a ceramic bowl, a vase, and two small paintings. Her gallery was destroyed in the flood last year but it’s back and better than ever! Please click to see more about Robin’s gallery and events. It’s one of our favorite places to shop!
Jamie Gillette, owner of Good Juju Jams and Jellies, donated a beautiful basket full of goodies, including her jams and jellies. They’re the best around and make perfect gifts for you and those you love! I think they’re so good because a little bit of Jamie’s good karma is captured in each jar!
Lisa Carbol, owner of Structural Integrity Massage and Wellness, is an amazing massage therapist. She contributed two 45-minute massage gift certificates. Whether you have a hitch in your get-along, like I do sometimes, or just want to totally relax, you won’t go wrong with Lisa. I am one of Lisa’s regular clients and I really look forward to each appointment!
Dan and Maude Swearingen, owners of EmbroidMe Catonsville, made the t-shirts we wore the day of the event! They donated a raffle basket of Maryland themed items. Some of those items included t-shirts, water bottles, crab chips and wine. Yum!
Kristin Bruckner, a wine rep for Santa Margherita, contributed a wonderful basket with five different fine wines, two wine glasses, and a wine opener. Just what you need after a long day!
Lee Dazzle Nails and Town Grill, two of West Friendship’s best businesses, donated some lovely beauty products and a gift certificate. Stop by Lee’s for a massage, haircut, or mani/pedi then head to Town Grill for a delicious meal!
Brightwater Spa in Columbia gave a $100 gift certificate to go towards a day at the spa! We have rewarded our clients with a gift certificate to Brightwater in the past and they have raved about it.
Thank you again! We could not have pulled it off without you and we truly appreciate your trust in our team. We’re already looking forward to next year!
P.S. Thank you to everyone who entered our Refer to Relax raffle!! Big congratulations to Katie Marrow for winning a one-night stay and dinner in a beautiful waterfront hotel in Annapolis 🙂 Don’t worry, we will have more opportunities to win coming your way!
